 RESOLVED: That the Minutes of the meeting of the Licensing and Appeals Committee held on 24 May 2012 be approved as a correct record and signed by the Chairman.

 RESOLVED: That the Minutes of the meetings of the Licensing and Appeals Committee, sitting as a Panel, held on 21 May, 15 June, 28 June, 17 July, 9 August and 6 September 2012 be received and noted.
MATTERS FOR RECOMMENDATION TO THE COUNCIL
LA 12/083 Gambling Act 2005 Draft Statement of Licensing Policy
 The Chief Solicitor's report set out details of the responses received to the consultation on the proposed Gambling Act 2005 Statement of Principles (Policy) due to be published on 14 January 2013. Members expressed disappointment at the very low level of response to the consultation which had been undertaken between 1 June and 24 August 2012.

RECOMMENDED: That the Draft Gambling Policy Statement be commended to the Council for approval.
