Minutes:

Consideration was given to the recommendations from the Finance, Innovation and Property Advisory Board meeting held on 15 September 2021 (as set out at Minute Number FIP 21/55).

 

RECOMMENDED:  That Option 1 (to progress the current design) presented in the report be recommended as the preferred option to Council.

Pembury Road Options

The report sets out an update to the recent procurement of four properties for conversion to temporary accommodation in Pembury Road, Tonbridge.  Members are asked to consider the options set out in the report having regard to the latest situation which is presented, and make appropriate recommendations on the way forward to Cabinet and Council.

The report of the Director of Planning, Housing and Environmental Health provided an update on the recent procurement of four properties in Tonbridge for conversion to temporary accommodation.

 

Careful consideration was given to the options set out in the report with particular attention given to the financial and value for money implications as a result of anticipated additional costs above the approved budget.

 

RECOMMENDED:  That Option 1 presented in the report be recommended as the preferred option to Cabinet and Council.
