Mayor's Announcements. |
The Mayor announced that he had appointed the Reverend Alan Clark as his Chaplain and advised that the Civic Service would be held at Tonbridge Methodist Church, Higham Lane, Tonbridge on Sunday 4 June 2006. The Mayor nominated the MacMillan Nurses (Kent Group) and the Demelza House Hospice as his charities. He advised Members that his Garden Party would be held at Tonbridge Castle on 14 September, the annual cricket match against Maidstone Borough Council would be held in Maidstone on 30 July and that the 'Mauling Cup' golf competition would be held on 10 September at Poult Wood Golf Centre. He invited Members to support a charity performance at the Oast Theatre on 30 July. |
