C 12/074 Declarations of interest.
 There were no declarations of interest made.
C 12/075 Future Management Structure
 Consideration was given to the recommendations of the extraordinary meeting of the General Purposes Committee held earlier that evening on proposed amendments to the Council's senior management structure.

RESOLVED: That the recommendations at Minute GP 12/029 be adopted.
C 12/076 Changes to the Constitution - Future Management Structure
 The report of the Monitoring Officer indicated that changes to the Constitution would be necessary to reflect the transfer of existing responsibilities and delegations as a consequence of the amendments to the senior management structure. Details were given of initial changes from 1 February 2013 and it was noted that a further report would be presented to a future meeting following appraisal of the structure arising from the relocation of service areas.

RESOLVED: That the Monitoring Officer be authorised to make the appropriate consequential amendments to the Council's Constitution to give effect to the deletion of the post of Chief Solicitor and the transfer of all functions, duties, responsibilities and delegations/ appointments associated with that post to the Director of Central Services with effect from 1 February 2013.
C 12/077 Sealing of Documents
 RESOLVED: That authority be given for the Common Seal of the Council to be affixed to any instrument to give effect to a decision of the Council incorporated into these Minutes and proceedings.
