Taxi and Private Hire Licensing - Consultation on Revised Practice Guidance |
Further to Minute LA 09/018 the Central Services Director provided an update on the review of Hackney Carriage and Private Hire licensing and sought the Committee's views on the proposed response to the Department for Transport's consultation on 'Taxi and Private Hire Vehicle Licensing: Best Practice Guidance'. RESOLVED: That (1) the response to the consultation questionnaire, set out in Annex C to the report, be endorsed; and (2) the Central Services Director be authorised to complete the full review of the taxi and private hire policy in line with the revised best practice guidance once it is issued and submit a further report to the Committee. |
