RESOLVED: That the application be REFUSED for the following reason: The proposed development by reason of its siting, size and scale would have a detrimental impact on the spaciousness of the locality and is thereby harmful to the character of the area and would have an adverse impact on and would therefore be harmful to the amenities of the neighbouring properties. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policies CP1, CP13 and CP24 of the Tonbridge and Malling Borough Core Strategy 2007 and Policy SQ1 of the Tonbridge and Malling Borough Managing Development and the Environment DPD 2010 and paragraphs 17, 57, 58, 61 of the National Planning Policy Framework 2012. |
