Decisions were taken on the following applications subject to the pre-requisites, informatives, conditions or reasons for refusal set out in the report of the Director of Planning, Housing and Environmental Health or in the variations indicated below. Any supplementary reports were tabled at the meeting.

RESOLVED: That the application be

APPROVED in accordance with the conditions, reasons and informatives set out in the report of the Director of Planning, Housing and Environmental Health.

APPROVED in accordance with the conditions, reasons and informatives set out in the report of the Director of Planning, Housing and Environmental Health.

Change of use and laying out of land for use as a Croquet Club, with clubhouse and car park at Park Farm, Bradbourne Lane, Ditton.

RESOLVED: That the application be

APPROVED in accordance with the conditions, reasons and informatives set out in the report of the Director of Planning, Housing and Environmental Health, subject to the following:

(1) The amendment of the pre-condition by the addition of the following:-
'Subject to the receipt of satisfactory consultation responses from the Environment Agency and other technical consultees with regard to the provision and specification of the proposed septic tank, grant delegated powers to DPHEH to grant planning permission subject to the conditions set out in the main report, the revision to condition 6 and any additional conditions that may be justified as a result of the consultation with the Environment Agency.'

(2) Amendment of Conditions

6. The site and club house shall only be used between the hours of 0900 and sunset.
Reason: In the interests of the residential amenities of the occupants of the nearby properties.

8. The premises hereby approved shall only be used as a croquet club and for no other purpose without the prior consent in writing of the Local Planning Authority with only light refreshments to be served and prepared on site and no outdoor functions to be held within the grounds.
Reason: In the interests of the residential amenities of the occupants of the area.

(3) Amendment of Informative

1. During the construction phase, the hours of working (including deliveries) shall be restricted to 0900-1730 Monday to Friday with no work on Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays.

(4) Additional Informative

4. The applicant is advised that, due to the nature of the internal road network of Bradbourne House and Park Farm, all site traffic should enter and exit the site from Bradbourne Lane and not from New Road East Malling through Bradbourne House.

RESOLVED: That an Enforcement Notice BE ISSUED, the detailed wording of which to be agreed with the Director of Central Services, requiring the removal of the unauthorised works and the cessation of any associated change of use for the reasons identified in the report of the Director of Planning, Housing and Environmental Health.
