Development Control - Local Validation Criteria for Planning and Allied Applications

The report set out details of the results of the consultation exercise undertaken in respect of the proposed adoption of local validation criteria as part of the Development Control process. A supplementary report was circulated in advance of the meeting.
Following consideration by the Planning and Transportation Advisory Board, the Cabinet Member for Planning and Transportation resolved that the results of the consultation process, as set out in paragraphs 1.1.6 and 1.1.7 of the report, and the detailed issues alluded to in the supplementary report be adopted for integration into the appropriate Local Validation documents.
Reasons: As set out in the report and supplementary report submitted to the Planning and Transportation Advisory Board of 25 February 2008.
