Tonbridge Conservation Area Appraisal - Consultation Draft

The report advised that a draft Conservation Area Appraisal had been prepared for the purpose of public consultation. The extent of the Conservation Area had been reviewed and certain changes proposed which also needed to be subject to consultation.
Following consideration by the Planning and Transportation Advisory Board, the Cabinet Member for Planning and Transportation resolved that:
1) the proposed changes to the extent of the Tonbridge Conservation Area, as set out in Annex A of the report, be adopted for the purpose of public consultation, subject to retaining conservation status of the green open space and the Crescent overlooking it at The Haydens; and
2) the draft Conservation Area Appraisal be adopted for the purposes of public consultation.
Reasons: As set out in the report submitted to the Planning and Transportation Advisory Board of 3 June 2008.
