West Kent Leader Programme - Update
Minutes
An update was given on the successful West Kent Leader Programme and attention drawn to the need to lobby for additional funding from Government to enable the programme to be continued into the final year of the five year programme.
Following consideration by the Communities Advisory Board, the Cabinet Member for Communities resolved that:
The Borough Council indicate its support for the West Kent Partnership in lobbying for additional resources to be made available to the West Kent Leader Programme for 2014/15 by DEFRA.
Reasons: As set out in the report submitted to the Communities Advisory Board of 23 July 2012.
