Diversion of Restricted Byway MR221A, London Golf Club, South Ash Manor, Ash |
The Director of Central Services reported that an application to divert Restricted Byway MR221A had been received from the London Golf Club. This was connected to a planning permission granted under reference TM/12/01290/FL to relocate an existing practice facility and access road to a previously permitted hotel development, which provided a new practice facility building and 9 hole golf course and underpass to South Ash Road. Details of the proposed diversion were set out in the plan attached to the report. It was noted that the proposed diversions were considered necessary to allow the development proposal in application TM/12/01290/FL to be implemented and to pose acceptable changes that would improve the public rights of way network in the location. RECOMMENDED: That (1) the making and advertising of a Diversion Order under the provisions of Section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 be approved; and (2) the confirmation of the Order, if unopposed be approved; or (3) the Order be referred to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government for determination if any objections are sustained. *Referred to Council |
