Kent Downs AONB Landscape Design Handbook |
The report of the Monitoring Officer referred to a recommendation to the Planning and Transportation Advisory Board on 27 February 2006 that the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Landscape Design Handbook be adopted as a material consideration for development control purposes. Members were advised that since this matter affected the Council's budget and policy framework a decision notice (D060054MEM) issued after the meeting of the Advisory Board was not one which could be made by the Executive Member under the Council's Constitution and consequently could not stand. It was therefore necessary for the recommendation of the Advisory Board to be considered by the Cabinet and Council. RECOMMENDED: That the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Landscape Design Handbook be adopted as a material consideration for development control. *Referred to Council |
