FP 07/037 Gambling Act 2005: Premises Licence Fees
Consideration was given to the joint report of the Chief Solicitor and Director of Finance which outlined the Council's responsibility for issuing premises licences under the Gambling Act 2005. It was noted that in the Borough such premises were mainly betting offices currently licensed by the Justices' Licensing Committee and details were given of the maximum fees prescribed by the Secretary of State. Members asked a number of questions about the services to be provided by the Council under the fee and officers undertook to provide further information at the Cabinet meeting.

RECOMMENDED: That the Council adopt as its fees the maximum fees specified in the Annex to the report.
