Members considered the proposal to formalise the existing patrolling arrangements for Tonbridge Racecourse Sportsground and Haysden Country Park through the creation of a permanent part-time post within the Leisure Services Outdoor Section. The Committee was advised that the proposed post would be fully funded from the existing outdoor leisure temporary staffing budget. RECOMMENDED: That (1) the post of Park Ranger be added to the Council's establishment within the Leisure Services Outdoor section as permanent part-time 28 hours a week on Grade 2 with effect from 1 July 2007; and (2) the cost of the post be met from the existing provision within the Outdoor Leisure temporary staff budget. *Referred to Council |
