Capital Plan 2007/08 - Increased Expenditure on Green Waste Scheme |
The joint report of the Chief Executive, Director of Finance and Director of Health and Housing sought endorsement of action taken under Financial Procedure Rule No 14 to approve additional expenditure of £60,000 for the purchase of further wheeled bins to ensure the full implementation of phase 7 of the scheme. It was noted that the Policy Overview Committee at its meeting on 16 October 2007 had endorsed the action and commended the increased provision in the Capital Plan accordingly. RECOMMENDED: That the action taken be endorsed and the Capital Plan provision for new wheeled bins be increased by £60,000. *Referred to Council |
