Statement of Community Involvement
Business
The Director of Planning and Transportation reported that the Council's Statement of Community Involvement (Submission Draft) had now been approved by the Planning Inspectorate subject to a number of minor changes. It was noted that Tonbridge and Malling was the first authority in the country to submit its Statement of Community Involvement and, accordingly, the first to have the document approved.

RECOMMENDED: That (1) in the light of the comments received from the Planning Inspector, the Statement of Community Involvement be amended as outlined in the report and adopted by the Council; and (2) congratulations be conveyed to the officers concerned for achieving the first approved Statement of Community Involvement in the country. *Referred to Council |
