Technical and Administrative Support - Policy Section (Reason: LGA 1972 Sch 12A Para 1 - Employee Information) |
The Director of Planning and Transportation reported that a re-evaluation of the technical and administrative support for the Policy and Conservation Section had revealed that it would be beneficial to replace the current full-time post of Administrative Assistant with two part-time posts. One would specialise in providing assistance to the Conservation Officer with the other providing greater technical support to the Policy Team. RECOMMENDED: That (1) the full-time post DJ0308 of Administrative Assistant in the Policy Section on Scale 1/2 be deleted; (2) a new part-time post on Scale 3/4 of Technical Assistant (Policy) be established with effect from 1 January 2006; and (3) a new part-time post on Scale 3/4 of Conservation Assistant be established with effect from 1 June 2005. *Referred to Council |
