New Nottingham Declaration on Climate Change

The report provided an update on the Nottingham Declaration consultation which had taken place and outlined the Borough Council's response and position for the future.
Following consideration by the Communities Advisory Board, the Cabinet Member for Communities resolved that:
1) a further report be submitted to the Communities Advisory Board once the detail of the revised Nottingham Declaration has been produced; and
2) Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council sign up to the new Nottingham Declaration, providing that the points made at 1.2.2 in the report have been adopted.
Reasons: As set out in the report submitted to the Communities Advisory Board of 13 December 2011.
