2012 Coach of the Year Award

The report brought forward a recommendation for the 2012 Coach of the Year Award and for a special Lifetime Achievement in Sport Award.
Following consideration by the Leisure and Arts Advisory Board, the Cabinet Member for Leisure, Youth and Arts resolved that:
1) the 2012 Coach of the Year Award be made to Gary Marshall for his achievements in the development of cricket; and
2) the 2012 Lifetime Achievement in Sport Award be made to Tony Mulcuck in recognition of his dedication to the sport of lawn and short mat bowls.
Reasons: As set out in the report submitted to the Leisure and Arts Advisory Board of 14 May 2012.
