MATTERS FOR RECOMMENDATION TO THE COUNCIL
ST 09/011 Chairman of the Committee
 The Chairman advised that, upon completion of her term of office on 30 June 2009, she intended to stand down from the Committee. Members paid tribute to the manner in which she had chaired the Committee and thanked her for her valuable contribution toward its development under her chairmanship.

RECOMMENDED: That the Council appoint David Ashton as the new independent Chairman of the Standards Committee.
