The report provided a review of this year's Festival of Music and Fireworks organised by promoters Musical Associates (Concerts) Ltd in partnership with the Council and outlined some initial considerations for the event in 2010.
Following consideration by the Leisure & Arts Advisory Board, the Cabinet Member for Leisure, Youth and Arts resolved that the success of the 2009 Festival of Music and Fireworks be noted and a detailed report be submitted to a future meeting of the Board on proposals for 2010, incorporating measures to reduce the cost of the Festival to the Council.
