The report provided an update on the proposed programme for this summer's event and included details of initiatives to reduce the cost of the Festival to the Council.
Following consideration by the Leisure and Arts Advisory Board, the Cabinet Member for Leisure, Youth and Arts resolved that the proposed programme, charges and arrangements for the 2009 Festival of Music and Fireworks, as outlined in the report, be agreed.
Reasons: As set out in the report submitted to the Leisure and Arts Advisory Board of 12 January 2009.
