The report of the Management Team provided an update on progress towards the new gypsy and traveller site at Coldharbour, Aylesford. Particular reference was made to the approach to be adopted to local lettings together with some contract and programming issues that had arisen for Kent County Council during the project. An additional briefing paper from the County Council was circulated at the meeting. RECOMMENDED: That consideration of the matter be deferred to allow the Management Team to evaluate the latest evidence from Kent County Council and to seek further information, specifically in respect of professional indemnity insurance, with a report back to the next appropriate meeting of the Cabinet. *Referred to Council |
