Tonbridge Sportsgrounds - Provision/Replacement of Ball Courts

The report brought forward proposals for the provision of a new ball court at Tonbridge Racecourse Sportsground and for the renewal of the existing ball court at Tonbridge Farm Sportsground.
Following consideration by the Leisure and Arts Advisory Board, the Cabinet Member for Leisure, Youth and Arts resolved that:
1) a ball court and youth shelter be provided at Tonbridge Racecourse Sportsground as outlined in the report;
2) the ball court, fencing and markings at Tonbridge Farm Sportsground be replaced; and
3) both projects be procured within one contract in accordance with the Council's Contracts Procedure Rules.
Reasons: As set out in the report submitted to the Leisure and Arts Advisory Board of 17 March 2008.
