Poult Wood Golf Centre - Replacement of Irrigation System

The report brought forward proposals for the replacement of the irrigation system serving the 18 and 9 hole golf courses at Poult Wood Golf Centre.
Following consideration by the Leisure and Arts Advisory Board, the Cabinet Member for Leisure, Youth and Arts resolved that:
1) the irrigation system covering the 18 and 9 hole golf courses at Poult Wood Golf Centre be replaced as outlined in the report;
2) the action taken to advertise for tenderers in advance of the meeting of the Advisory Board be endorsed; and
3) the project be procured as a Joint Contracts Tribunal Minor Works contract in accordance with the Council's Contracts Procedure Rules.
Reasons: As set out in the report submitted to the Leisure and Arts Advisory Board of 17 March 2008.
