The report brought forward details of the responses received to the consultation exercise on the draft Local Play Strategy and recommended that the final document be referred to the Policy Overview Committee for consideration. The Chief Leisure Officer advised that comments received from a number of parish councils which had requested an extension of time would be incorporated into Annex 1 to the report for consideration by the Policy Overview Committee.
Following consideration by the Leisure and Arts Advisory Board, the Cabinet Member for Leisure, Youth and Arts resolved that the proposed amendments highlighted at Annex 1 to the report be confirmed and the amended Local Play Strategy be referred to the Policy Overview Committee for consideration.
Reasons: As set out in the report submitted to the Leisure and Arts Advisory Board of 22 May 2007.
