The report provided an update on the re-tendering of the Grounds Maintenance Contract and sought approval of a Select List of Contractors. Attention was drawn to the option within the report for the inclusion of the maintenance of Kent County Council highway verges within the tender documentation and that confirmation was awaited from the County Council on how they wished the Borough Council to proceed.
Following consideration by the Leisure and Arts Advisory Board, the Cabinet Member for Leisure, Youth and Arts resolved that, subject to satisfactory financial appraisals, the Select List of contractors as outlined in the report be approved and those contractors be invited to tender for the Grounds Maintenance Contract.
Reasons: As set out in the report submitted to the Leisure and Arts Advisory Board of 22 May 2007 (contains exempt information).
