Leisure Services Business Unit - Membership Retention Software

The report set out details of a proposal to purchase membership retention software to assist in retaining members of the Lifestyles Health and Fitness facilities at Larkfield Leisure Centre and Angel Centre.
Following consideration by the Leisure and Arts Advisory Board, the Cabinet Member for Leisure, Youth and Arts resolved that:
1) 'The Retention People' software be purchased from the Leisure Services Business Unit earmarked reserve;
2) the associated hardware be purchased from the General IT Developments Fund;
3) ongoing maintenance and support costs be met from LSBU revenue budgets; and
4) the Chief Leisure Officer submit a report in 12 months time evaluating the success of the system and examining the feasibility of expansion to other leisure areas.
Reasons: As set out in the report submitted to the Leisure and Arts Advisory Board of 17 July 2007.
