MATTERS FOR RECOMMENDATION TO THE COUNCIL
CB 05/082 Establishment of Customer Contact Advisory Board
The report of the Customer Services Manager outlined the present position regarding development of the Customer Contact Strategy and suggested that the range of significant customer issues requiring Members' consideration merited the establishment of a dedicated advisory board. It was noted that the ICT and E-Government Advisory Board at its meeting on 21 November 2005 had recommended the establishment of a Customer Contact Advisory Board. Accordingly, proposed membership arrangements and terms of reference were set out.

RECOMMENDED: That

(1) a Customer Contact Advisory Board be established on the basis set out in the report, including the Chairman of the ICT and E-Government Advisory Board as an ex-officio member, and the constitution be amended accordingly; and

(2) the Group Leaders be asked to submit their representatives for the Board.
