Consideration was given to the recommendations of the Planning and Transportation Advisory Board at its meeting on 24 October 2005 regarding revised arrangements governing public speaking on planning applications. RECOMMENDED: That (1) it be reaffirmed that there shall be no limit to the number of speakers on any report; (2) each speaker be allowed up to three minutes to speak; (3) a three minute limit be applied in respect of each item with a separate application number; and (4) the right to register to speak be allowed until 1915 hours on the night of the meeting. *Referred to Council |
