The Cabinet received the recommendations of the Finance and Property Advisory Board of 3 October 2007 regarding potential suppliers of e-benefits software and a proposed procurement process. RECOMMENDED: That (1) the Director of Finance be given delegated authority to purchase the Northgate e-benefits system in accordance with the exemption from tendering granted under Contracts Procedure Rule 2.8; and (2) the action of the Director of Finance in seeking the agreement of the Leader, the Cabinet Member for Finance and the Chairman of the Scrutiny Committee to the purchase of the system in advance of the Council meeting, so as to meet the deadlines for the offer made by Northgate Information Solutions, be confirmed. *Referred to Council |
