Further to Minute FP 07/073, consideration was given to the report of the Director of Finance on potential suppliers of e-benefits software and a proposed procurement process. RECOMMENDED: That the Director of Finance (1) be given delegated authority to purchase the Northgate e-benefits system in accordance with the exemption from tendering granted under Contracts Procedure Rule 2.8; and (2) seek the agreement of the Leader of the Council, the Cabinet Member for Finance and the Chairman of the Scrutiny Committee to the purchase of the system in advance of the Council meeting so as to meet the deadlines for the offer made by Northgate Information Solutions. *Referred to Cabinet |
