Open Space Strategy |
The joint report of the Director of Planning, Transport and Leisure and the Cabinet Members for Planning and Transportation and Leisure, Youth and Arts sought approval for the draft Open Space Strategy to be adopted and incorporated into the Council's budget and policy framework. The supplementary report of the Director of Planning, Transport and Leisure detailed changes recommended to the Open Space Strategy to ensure compatibility with the Managing Development and the Environment Development Plan Document. Members thanked Officers for their excellent work and were grateful for the amendments outlined in the supplementary report. RECOMMENDED: That (1) the Council adopt the Open Space Strategy as part of its budget and policy framework; and (2) the changes outlined in the supplementary report be made to the Open Space Strategy. *Referred to Cabinet |
