Local Code of Corporate Governance |
The report of the Chief Executive sought the Cabinet's endorsement of a Local Code of Corporate Governance which had been commended for adoption by the Audit Committee at its meeting on 14 February 2008. It was noted that the Code had been revised in the light of new CIPFA/SOLACE guidance designed to capture the developments in corporate governance that had evolved since the original framework. RECOMMENDED: That the draft Local Code of Corporate Governance, as recommended by the Audit Committee, be adopted. *Referred to Council |
