The Cabinet received the recommendations of the Youth and Children Advisory Board of 12 March 2008 regarding an amendment to the Council's Corporate Child Protection Policy. The proposed amendment to the reporting procedure would reduce waiting time and provide direct reporting to Social Services and the Police. RECOMMENDED: That the proposed amendment to the reporting procedures within the Corporate Child Protection Policy, as outlined in the report, be approved. *Referred to Council |
