Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 |
The Chief Executive's report outlined the content of the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 which gave effect to the Government's proposals for the reform of the local government system in England and for the reform of current arrangements for patient and public involvement in the provision of health and social care services. His report assessed the implications each Part of the Act could have on the Borough and set out details of action to be taken when the Secretary of State exercised the powers available under the Act. RECOMMENDED: That Council be recommended to approve the outline action plan set out in Annex 1 to the report. *Referred to Cabinet |
