Decision Taken By: CABINET MEMBER FOR Planning and Transportation
Decision No: D080039MEM
Date: 25th February 2008
Decision(s) and Reason(s)
Managing Development and the Environment - Issues and Options Report
Minutes
The report introduced the Issues and Options Report for the Managing Development and the Environment Development Plan Document. The report set out details of the consultation process with particular reference to the grouping of issues under six themes and the format for addressing each theme. The Director of Planning, Transport and Leisure highlighted the implications of impending changes to the Local Development Framework Regulations and anticipated the effect this would have on the production of the Draft Plan. The Director advised that the Issues and Options Report would be revised before the consultation to rationalise the number of 'Questions' asked.
Following consideration by the Planning and Transportation Advisory Board, the Cabinet Member for Planning and Transportation resolved that, subject to the rationalisation of the 'Questions' asked, the Issues and Options Report for the Managing Development and the Environment Development Plan Document be endorsed as the basis for public consultation under Regulation 25 of the Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004.
Reasons: As set out in the report submitted to the Planning and Transportation Advisory Board of 25 February 2008.
