The report set out details of the proposed response to the Government's consultation on revisions to the Planning Policy Statement (No 4) relating to economic development.
Following consideration by the Planning and Transportation Advisory Board, the Cabinet Member for Planning and Transportation resolved that the comments contained in the report and the responses to the questions in Annex 1 to the report form the basis of the Council's response to draft Planning Policy Statement 4 with particular emphasis being placed on the impact of HGV traffic generated by employment uses in rural areas (Question 8 on Annex 1 refers).
Reasons: As set out in the report submitted to the Planning and Transportation Advisory Board of 25 February 2008.
