Decision:

The report gave details of action taken during the flooding emergency over the Christmas and New Year period and identified areas where the Council and other agencies could learn from the emergency to make further improvements to its plans to support residents.

 

The Chief Executive updated the Cabinet on the multi-agency debriefings which had been held and the continuing response to the on-going adverse weather conditions.  It was noted that feedback from the various meetings with local residents would be reported to the appropriate committee or advisory board.

 

The Cabinet thanked the Management Team and all staff involved in the emergency response.
