In the light of the coronavirus pandemic, consideration was given to an update of the Strategic Risk Register and a number of areas where risk had been escalated were set out.

Particular reference was made to the significant risks and implications to the financial position and budget deficit, Brexit impact and economic uncertainty, the Corporate Strategy and the Savings and Transformation Strategy and waste services.

The Cabinet resolved that:

The escalation of a number of key risks to Red (summarised above and detailed in the Strategic Risk Register attached as Annex 1) be noted and acknowledged.
