The report presented for consideration a revised Food and Safety Service Plan which formed part of the Council’s Policy Framework and was subject to annual review.  The Plan provided evidence that there was proper governance, resourcing and organisation of the Council’s Food and Safety function.

Following consideration by the Local Environmental Management Advisory Board, the Cabinet Member for Environmental Services resolved that the amended Food and Safety Service Plan 2012-16, attached as Annex 1 to the report, be approved.
