The report provided an update on a review of the Council’s principal property assets within Tonbridge town centre and presented details of a proposal for the redevelopment of land and buildings to create a new medical centre and residential accommodation.

 

The Cabinet resolved that:

 

The Director of Central Services and Director of Planning, Housing and Environmental Health be authorised to enter into negotiations for the disposal of land within Tonbridge town centre for the purposes of facilitating the construction of a new medical centre and, in consultation with the Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance, Innovation and Property, to agree Heads of Terms for the disposal.
