The report gave details of the provisions of the Self Build and Custom Housebuilding Act 2015 and sought delegated authority to exercise the new powers in respect of maintenance of the Register.

The Cabinet resolved that:

Authority be delegated to the Director of Planning, Housing and Environmental Health to exercise all of the Council’s powers in relation to the Self Build and Custom Housebuilding Register, including any set out in the Self Build and Custom Housebuilding Act 2015 and any regulations made thereunder.
