Consideration was given to the recommendations of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee at its meeting of 26 January 2016 on the outcome of a review of Community Engagement.

The Cabinet resolved that:

The recommendations of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee be noted subject to:

(1)             in respect of meetings of the Tonbridge Forum a review of the Tonbridge Forum membership be undertaken to enable members to withdraw from the Forum if they wish to do so or to confirm their continued membership and indicate their preferred start time of meetings, the arrangements to be operated as a pilot in the first instance; and

(2)             in respect of the meetings of the Parish Partnership Panel, authority be delegated to the Leader and Deputy Leader to agree future arrangements in the light of consideration of the proposals by the Parish Partnership Panel at its meeting on 18 February 2016.
