To confirm as a correct record the Minutes of the Special and ordinary meetings of Council held on 18 February 2025

The programme of meetings for the municipal year 2025/26 is attached for consideration.  Management Team, Senior Officers and Cabinet Members have been consulted on the proposed dates.  The draft programme for 2026/27 is also attached for consideration.

Recommendations of Cabinet of 1 April 2025 in respect of the Capital Plan Evaluation for the replacement of the Angel Leisure Centre in Tonbridge are ‘to follow’.

In accordance with LGA 1972 Schedule 12A Paragraph 3 – Financial or business affairs of any particular person including the authority holding that information, Annexes 1, 3 and 4 are Private and restricted.

Outline Application:  All matters reserved except for access for the erection of up to 52 residential dwellings, including affordable housing, open space and landscaping, roads, parking, drainage and earthworks.  New access to be formed from Wateringbury Road.

The following are attached:

·       Recommendation AP2 25/11 of the Area 2 Planning Committee of 19 February 2025;

·       Reports/related appendices of 19 February 2025, 15 January 2025 and 18 September 2024. 

In accordance with LGA 1972 - Sch 12A Paragraph 5 – information in respect of which a claim to legal professional privilege could be maintained in legal proceedings, the legal report of 19 February is private and restricted.

In order to facilitate the proper consideration of the application, the Council will need to suspend its own procedure rules and resolve itself into a committee to which rules relating to a planning committee will be applied.

To receive and note the Minutes of meetings of Cabinet and Committees as set out in the Minute Book (attached as a supplement).

To authorise the Common Seal of the Council to be affixed to any Contract, Minute, Notice or other document requiring the same.
