(Reason:  LGA 1972 Sch 12A Paragraph 1 – Information relating to an individual)

The Panel gave consideration to the report of the Director of Central Services and Monitoring Officer regarding an application for a Probationary Private Hire Driver’s Licence.  The Panel was reminded that a previous application had been refused on 28 June 2012 following information received from the Driving and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) and noted that the points on the applicant’s DVLA driving licence would expire on 23 August 2014.  The Panel listened carefully to the representations made by the Applicant who confirmed that he understood the conditions applied to a probationary licence.  The Panel therefore

RESOLVED:  That the applicant be granted a Probationary Private Hire Driver’s Licence with Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council.
