The Chairman moved, it was seconded and

RESOLVED:  That as public discussion would disclose exempt information, the following matters be considered in private.

The Panel gave consideration to the report of the Director of Central Services and Monitoring Officer regarding an application for a Dual Driver’s Licence.  The Panel was reminded that, at a meeting of the Panel held on 16 May 2012, the Applicant’s Private Hire Driver’s Licence and Private Hire Vehicle Licence had been revoked.  The Panel noted that the required two year period had elapsed since the date of revocation of the previous licence.  The Panel listened carefully to the representations made by the applicant, had regard to the Council’s Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Policy (‘the Policy’) and the relevant provisions set out at Paragraph 1.3 of the report of the Director of Central Services, and

RESOLVED:  That the Applicant be granted a Dual Driver’s Licence with Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council.
