Review of Private Hire Driver's Licence - Case No. 007/2022 The Panel is invited to consider what action should be taken in respect of a Private Hire Driver’s Licence. Minutes: The Licensing and Appeals Committee, sitting as a Panel, was asked to consider whether any action was appropriate in respect of a Private Hire licence holder after the individual was arrested by Kent Police for domestic related offences.
Having taken into account all the evidence provided, the Hearing was adjourned, pending the receipt of further information. The Panel requested sight of the prosecution summary, updated DBS certificate and available medical evidence. In the meantime, the licence would remain suspended for a further three months pending receipt of the requested information.
In the circumstances, the Panel
RESOLVED: That in respect of Case Number 007/2022
(1) the hearing be adjourned, pending the receipt of further information; and
(2) the Private Hire Driver’s licence remain suspended for a further three months pending receipt of the requested information. |
