Declarations of interest PDF 3 KB Members in any doubt about such declarations are advised to contact Legal or Democratic Services in advance of the meeting Minutes: For reasons of transparency, Councillor H Rogers advised that he was a close personal friend of two neighbours to the former public conveniences in Hadlow (Minute No FIP 22/21 refers). As this did not represent a Disclosable Pecuniary or Other Significant Interest there was no requirement to leave the meeting.
Councillor G Bridge declared a Disclosable Pecuniary Interest in respect of the item relating to the Lease Proposal for Tonbridge Angels Football Club in that he was a shareholder in the Community Benefits Society through which the supporters owned the football club (Minute No FIP 22/22 refers). He withdrew from the meeting during consideration of this item.
For reasons of transparency, Councillor M Hood advised that he was a Fan but not a member of the Tonbridge Angels Supporters Club. As this did not represent a Disclosable Pecuniary or Other Significant Interest there was no requirement to leave the meeting during consideration of this item.
For reasons of transparency, Councillor J Lark advised that his wife was a Director of Clay Colourworks which held a sub-lease from Upz and Downz at the football stadium. As this did not represent a Disclosable Pecuniary or Other Significant Interest there was no requirement to leave the meeting during consideration of this item.

RECOMMENDED: That a new lease be granted to the Angel Indoor Bowls Association in line with the terms set out in the report. |

RECOMMENDED: That
(1) Delegated authority be given to Property Services to consider the most appropriate method for disposal of the site at Hadlow and then progress the disposal; and
(2) Expressions of interest be sought for proposals for the site at Snodland and the results be reported to a future meeting of the Advisory Board.

The supplementary report of the Director of Central Services and Deputy Chief Executive, circulated in advance of the meeting, provided details of a proposed extension to the existing lease to the Tonbridge Angels Football Club.
RECOMMENDED: That a reversionary lease, as detailed in the report, be granted to Tonbridge Angels Football Club Limited including the removal of the existing tenant’s break clause. |
