Update on action identified in the last Minutes

Matters raised in Advance of the meeting

Details of the matter to be raised should be provided in writing or by email to committee.services@tmbc.gov.uk at least 10 working days before the meeting.  This is so that a response can be provided on the evening of the meeting. Only one question may be submitted by a parish council due to the time limitations.

Appointment of Second Vice-Chairman

To confirm the appointment of a second vice-chairman. 

 

The Kent Association of Local Councils has submitted the following nomination:

 

-       Dr Thomas Shelley, Chairman of Aylesford Parish Council

5.

Review of Forward Plan 2022/23 pdf icon PDF 9 KB

Members of the Parish Partnership Panel to identify what matters of business should be added to the Forward Plan for 2022/23.

6.

Planning Law and Policy - Government Proposals

The Kent Association of Local Councils  (on behalf of parish councils) has:

 

·        requested an update on the Governments proposals to change the planning laws/policy; and

·        asked if is there any information on the calculation of housing numbers and  using Green Belt land

7.

Climate Change

The Kent Association of Local Councils (on behalf of the parish councils) has asked:

 

·        if every planning application could be assessed to minimise the impact on climate change.

 

8.

Local Plan - Communication and Engagement

West Malling Parish Council has asked for an update in relation to the Local Plan with particular emphasis on communication and engagement with parish councils.

 

 

9.

Any Other Business

To consider any other issues raised at the meeting.  Any answers, actions and/or outcomes may be provided at the next meeting of the Parish Partnership Panel.
